Help and tips

Everything you might wonder about, in plain words.

Tips for learning well

  1. Keep a pencil and a notebook next to you. Like Sam, write down whatever comes to mind: new words, questions, even how a lesson made you feel. Repetition is the mother of learning, so write the important things again and again.
  2. Little and often. Ten minutes a day works better than one long session.
  3. Say the words out loud, even if you are not sure. The sound guides help.
  4. Try the tasks before you peek at the answers.
  5. Add a Greek keyboard on your phone or computer so you can type answers with accents. On a phone: Settings โ†’ Keyboard โ†’ Add keyboard โ†’ Greek.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Open a lesson and start. There is nothing to sign up for.

Is my progress saved?

Only a little. This device remembers which lessons you opened, but there are no accounts yet, so note where you stopped.

Can I hear the words?

Not yet. The sound guides in the lessons are approximate. Real audio is planned for later.

Is the Greek correct?

It is waiting for a native-speaker check, so mistakes are possible. This is an early version.
