The rule
The rule appears after you try the tasks.
Είμαι means "I am". In Greek, a name comes with a small word that shows gender.
- Είμαι η Σοφία. Είμαι ο Νίκος.
Είμαι + ο or η + name. - η Σοφία, η Μαρία, ο Νίκος
ο goes with male names, η with female names. - Με λένε Σαμ.
After με λένε you do not need ο or η. - καλημέρα, καλησπέρα
Greetings follow the time of day: καλημέρα for the morning, καλησπέρα for the evening.
Next time, ο and η become part of a bigger set (ο, η, το).
